The SS RVD 3.0 is a Grade 3 or 4 English Willow cricket bat designed as a replica for Rassie van der Dussen. It features a mid-low, full-profile, or duckbill toe shape, designed for sub-continental conditions. It has thick edges (37mm–42mm), a 58mm–66mm spine, and a medium round handle, weighing approximately 1180g–1208g.
Key Features of the SS RVD 3.0 Cricket Bat:
  • Willow: Grade 3 or 4 English Willow (Air Dried).
  • Profile: Full profile with a distinct duckbill/duckling toe, which helps improve pickup despite the heavy, lower-middle profile.
  • Sweet Spot: Mid-Low position, ideal for front-foot players.
  • Edges & Spine: Thick edges (~37mm – 42mm) and a high spine (~58mm – 66mm).
  • Handle: Medium round handle with rubber inserts for shock absorption.
  • Grains: Generally 7-9 straight grains.
  • Weight: Usually around 1180g – 1208g (2.6 – 2.7 lbs) for Short Handle (SH).
  • Includes: Padded SS bat cover.

The SS RVD 3.0 is characterized by its large profile while still providing a relatively light pickup.
